- From March to July 2024, the site experienced a steady traffic decline.
- March: Peak at -60K sessions
- July: Drop to under 10K
- This 85%+ decline raised red flags about content visibility and keyword rankings.
Critical thinking:
After a technical and SEO audit, key issues were discovered:
1- Thin or outdated content not satisfying current search intent
2- Lack of internal linking and semantic structure
3- Very low-quality backlinks from spammy directories
4- Minimal presence across AI-generated summaries and LLMs
5- No fresh content or topical authority building since May 2024
